Housing Leadership Manager - City of Redwood City, CA

Located in the heart of Silicon Valley, Redwood City (pop. 86,380/170,000+ daytime) is known for its diversity, strong neighborhoods, and civic pride. Within the City Manager’s Office, the newly created Housing Leadership Manager position will oversee the Housing Division responsible for fostering a range of housing options affordable to all income levels through policies, programs, partnerships, and projects that support the creation and preservation of affordable housing for Redwood City residents.

The ideal candidate will be a visionary and creative housing professional with exceptional interpersonal and communication skills. A history of productive relationship and partnership- building and effective program management will be expected. A Bachelor’s degree plus six years of experience in housing development and rehabilitation, planning or related field that includes at least two years of administrative and supervisory responsibilities is required. A Master’s degree is desirable. Candidates who possess a combination of relevant public and private and/or non-profit sector experience are encouraged to apply.

Salary range $138,432 - $186,888; salary supplemented by a generous benefits package.
