The Fremont Public Works Department is responsible for the design and construction of public facilities, managing and improving the City’s transportation network, and reviewing development projects.
The City seeks an experienced and forward-thinking Public Works leader with a strong background in capital project delivery and transportation planning. This collaborative professional will bring a record of managing complex CIPs and mobility projects. The successful candidate will be an effective communicator who values transparency and community engagement.
Ideal candidates will bring seven (7) years of engineering experience, including two (2) years in a managerial role, and a Bachelor’s degree. Possession of a Master’s degree and registration as a Professional Engineer are highly desired.
