Located in Los Angeles County the City of Burbank is known as the “Media Capital of the World” as its strong entertainment base includes some of the biggest names in the business. With easy access to numerous transportation options, Burbank’s increasingly popular destination points attract more than 10 million visitors a year.  With a team of 33 staff led by the CIO, the Information Technology Department supports all fifteen city departments.
 
The ideal candidate will be a forward-thinking leader known for producing outstanding results and managing projects successfully. He/she will possess an outstanding customer orientation along with superior communications and interpersonal skills. A history of effective people management will also be expected.  A typical combination of education and/or experience would include at least seven (7) years of recent, progressively responsible, senior or executive level management experience in IT. A Bachelor’s degree is required; Master’s degree desirable.
 
Salary goes up to $179,436 and is supplemented by an attractive benefits package.
