The Milpitas Police Department is supported by 136 personnel (87 sworn and 49 non-sworn) and is organized across three divisions: Technical Services, Field Services, and Special Operations.
The ideal candidate will be a forward thinking leader in law enforcement known for being a team player. A role model with a strong community and command presence will be expected. Twelve years of broad and increasingly responsible experience in municipal policing, which includes at least five years of management experience, is preferred. A Bachelor’s degree is required. Salary goes up to $239,999 and is supplemented by a highly competitive benefits package.
