Staffed by over 132 sworn and professional personnel and supported by a FY2023-24 budget of $37.9 million, the Department is organized across three divisions – Operations, Investigations, and Support Services.

Pleasanton is seeking a visionary servant leader to serve as its next police chief. The ideal candidate must exhibit relentless dedication to delivering extraordinary service customized to community needs and desires. This inspiring professional will have a demonstrated history of advancing technology and contemporary strategies that best serve the department and community. A leadership style that reflects a commitment to high standards and accountability will also be expected. Substantial municipal law enforcement experience, which includes management experience, and a bachelor’s degree are required.

The current annual salary for this position is $200,472 -$300,720 DOQE. Closes at 11:59pm on Sunday, August 18, 2024.
